Learn more details on our log packages

Heartbilt produces custom and pre-engineered packages.

Custom packages involve working together with Jim and Ellen McRell and our staff of draftsmen to develop your ideas into a log home that meets your needs and budget.  Most of our customers come to us with a hand drawn plan, or other plan that we use as a starting point to develop a log home to meet their specifications.

The Enterpriser series are pre-engineered packages.  Selecting an Enterpriser plan saves you in the cost of the log and shell package.  These homes are available in the 6" arctic cope, 6" D-log, 8" quad tongue and groove, and 8" new American cope short profiles.

Regardless of which package you choose there are some additional variations to each package.

You can choose which log system (or size) you desire.  These systems range from 6" to 12", and depend on your building location's size needs and temperate zone.

We offer the full round, artic, square or dove tail log systems.  Corners are saddle notched for superior stability and strength.

The interior material package includes1 x 6 carsideing to cover cathedral ceiling and gable end in great room, dining room, and kitchen; and log railing for loft stairs and balconies as per your personal proposal.  An option that can be included in this package is the log trim for interior main level and loft level.

Don't forget the option of exterior half log siding for exterior gable ends and exterior dormer walls.  This also includes log corner posts for dormers.

Please note: Specifications Subject.  Some Options not available with Enterpriser Series.  12" Logs available on Special Order.  All Sizes are Nominal.
